Our story of serving Vancouver and Richmond since 1984 began when enterprising plumber Richard Tsang recognized an opportunity because of the area’s rapid growth. Specifically, he saw promises within the construction plumbing and plumbing supply sector. Therefore, he established a retail store along with a construction heating and plumbing firm operating under the Wah Fai banner. This brand was conceived because there was a need to cater to an Asian audience. It was there, most practically, to mitigate their challenges due to language barriers. Concerns about unfair pricing for services and parts were common complaints because of the client’s limited exposure to the trade industry.

This strategic shift aimed at expanding the firm’s offerings to serve a more diversified clientele because of the ever growing demands. Richard also played a pivotal role in rejuvenating the firm’s image and optimizing its logistical operations across various departments, enabling it to thrive in an increasingly competitive landscape.
